Children Love the Meat Tank
Hello everyone, it’s me again.
I have a Athletic Persona that I’ve named Meat Tank. If you are familiar with the Heathcliff comic strip then you know that the Meat Tank is a concept that doesn’t make very much sense, much like most of the Heathcliff comic.

I like to refer to my Athletic Persona as Meat Tank because I imagine myself as a large block of meat, trucking through the universe. The Meat Tank is strong and unstoppable.
This summer, the Meat Tank has been getting back into cycling adventures. My main goal is to do a Century Ride (100 miles) by the end of the summer so I have been working my way up to that. Yesterday (July 21) I completed the Ride Around Torch which ended up being 27 miles. Torch Lake is a gorgeous lake up by Traverse City with a lot of holiday houses for Rich Richies and the weather was perfect. There were a lot of other people riding ranging from the serious cyclists doing the 100 mile route to the eBike oldsters putting along on their quasi-mopeds. The event is put on by the Cherry Capital Cycling Club, who run a few different events over the summer. I’m thinking about doing their Leelanau Harvest Tour in September, maybe by then I can do the 100 miler.

Other adventures include riding on a rail thingy with Lisa, I got a new drill, I rode to Ponder Coffee for an affogato, someone spray painted the word Queef on the street, and I sat in a hammock while my cats observed.

Here are all of the good cat photos since the last time I posted:
